I really enjoy my life. I have great sons, a lovely wife, a great house in a fantastic place, my airplane, and a sense of fulfillment in my work...consulting.
I'll share a view into my life; pictures of family and activities, travel, and friends. I don't intend to brag, BS, or bitch about anything. I just like my life and would like to share a few random thoughts and experiences.

I work as part of a HUGE consulting company where my practice leads companies to achieve greater success in dealing with board-level technology challenges, e.g. How much should we spend on IT?; How much value are we getting from technology?; What should I be concerned about in my IT operation?. I don't "implement" technology; I teach...
I teach leaders how to lead techies.
I teach CFOs and CEOs how to lead CIOs.
I teach business leaders how to ask for the IT capabilities they need to execute business strategies. And,
I teach IT leaders how to build relationships with business leaders to ensure better alignment of technology with business strategy. (and, I really enjoy my work!) --j
